The results of the first stage of judging are in! From almost 400 registered teams and 200 qualifying entries, our judges have chosen their favorite 20. We were completely amazed at the response we had to the competition – it took 15 judges on 6 continents a total of 120 hours to reach a verdict! A huge thank you to all the teams who participated in the challenge of designing suitable shelter in Haiti to minimize the risk of disease transmission, and congratulations to the 20 that have progressed to the final. Good luck to them all! We’ll be announcing the five winners on 12th January 2011.
