ARCHIVE staff, Maggy Keet and Monica Friday, has just returned from a trip to St. Marc, Haiti, with members of the New York-based design team, DXA Studio. The purpose of the visit was to further engage with F.E.B.S. and the community, modifying the five winning designs to be culturally and locally sensitive. During the visit, the team went to the constructions site at Bois L’Etat and also visited Zamni Agrikol’s impressive agricultural project in Mirebalais. ARCHIVE plans to break ground on the first two houses at the beginning of April.
