We recently had a Community Engagement Meeting near Bois L’Etat, outside the local school, with about 130 attendees. ARCHIVE and FEBS organized this session to discuss the project with the local community and focus on their health concerns.
Esther Boucicault (FEBS) talked about the houses that will be built in the first phase. Locals were really happy to hear about the progress and also about the improved road that we´ve been working on.
We also discussed about general health concerns of residents; various issues included: fever, stomach/indigestion/diarrhea, heart disease and diabetes. With the aim of covering all aspects, we also discussed about pregnancy, prenatal health care and women’s health. More updates to come soon!
